Holidays mate.

Bursting back onto the blogging scene with a spurting water cascade it brings me nicely onto holidays and brothers, nephews and nephew's girlfriends. For they did come to Sri Lanka and we did ride around in a Toyota Grand Cabin van for a couple of weeks. Its always interesting to be with people visiting Sri Lanka for the first time, the normal and usual becomes the weird and the whacky and 4 hour journeys seem to fly by!

And Sri Lanka, even after all these years... is still beautiful, amazing, full of surprises and a pain in the ass- often all in the same day. I'd not recommend Kandy high street- full of scam artists, or Dambulla caves, ruined by touts, the hideous modern temple, rubbish and a guy who thinks its reasonable to charge you to piss in a toilet that's no pissable in (due to the general ambiance).

Any ways up road like lads this is the good stuff.....
