Leaving your mic on can be disasterous..... the circumstances in which it can happen hilarious... CNN anchor woman leaves her mic on... goes for a (possible) tinkle (the jury are still out on this)... leaves her mic on and her banter with a colleague is picked up and broadcast live over a George Bush speech.
The above link does not refer to the glee the BBC might be feeling over this, but I'm sure the author had a little chuckle.
Apparently the poor woman's husband is a darling but her sister in law is a control freak... uncomfortable family reunion ahead.
